Thieves steal an Audi and hide the keys in a completely unexpected place!

Audi thieves, a novice's profession! Imagine two young boys with juvenile faces, so inexperienced in the art of crime that they might as well be beginners in a gardening class. In Charente-Maritime, a burglary first highlighted the clumsiness of these so-called "experts." On November 12, 2025, a resident of Vergeroux unfortunately discovered that his peace was disturbed while he was busy in his garage. Climbing over a low wall with the grace of a hippopotamus on an ice rink, our little crooks decided to steal a collection of valuable items, including a brand-new Audi. A little scare for the victim, who had to face the reality: one doesn't live hidden behind a wall anymore.

After their misdeed, the escape was swift. These champions of inattention had already blended into the night, jingling Audi keys in hand. But like a scene from a comedy film, the gendarmes, armed with 21st-century technology, quickly located the vehicle. Just 11 kilometers away, they stumbled upon our accomplices, clearly unconcerned that an abandoned Audi was attracting all the attention.

Oh, but that's not all! The climax of absurdity occurred during their transport to the station. Imagine the scene: a handcuffed suspect, wriggling like a chicken on a grill, desperately trying to hide the keys to the stolen vehicle in… the gendarmes' vehicle. Yes, you read that right. The internal cameras of police vehicles were clearly not within their expertise. All of this is so wonderful (and tragically comic) that it almost becomes a masterpiece of the art of crime!

And to top it all off, subsequent searches revealed that these two brave souls didn’t end up there by chance. The gendarmes found items from a previous burglary. They certainly had a knack for getting caught, but among the arms of justice, contemplating burglars showcasing their CV in a modern society pamphlet seems almost a reality. From the Alfa Romeo to the Audi, these young car theft enthusiasts show an almost suspicious taste for vehicles with character.

In the end, the logical outcome of this high-profile crime (pun intended, of course) was the final blow: the minor would face a judge to correct his bad habits, and his accomplice, a young adult, is facing serious consequences. Beyond a fine as soft as a caress of 150,000 euros, up to ten years in prison await him. Who said stealing an Audi was a good idea?

I’m that guy they call when everyone else has already said, “It can’t be done.”Obsessed with engines, the smell of grease, and coffee that's way too strong, I spend my days grumbling about modern times while tinkering with stuff that goes faster than it probably should.I’ve got an opinion on everything — especially when nobody asks — and I never do things halfway: it’s either brilliant or a complete disaster. But hey, at least it’s never boring.I believe progress is great… as long as it doesn’t replace elbow grease, common sense, and a good old 12mm wrench. My style? Straightforward, raw, sometimes absurd, often funny (well, I think I’m funny). If you’re looking for someone discreet, politically correct, and ready to tell you what you want to hear… you’ve clearly knocked on the wrong workbench. But if what you want is real ideas, raw passion, and straight talk that smells like gasoline — welcome aboard.
